About the role

You'll walk fields and tell growers what's actually happening in them. Day to day you'll scout crops for weeds, insects, and disease, assess staging and stand counts, pull soil and tissue samples, and record observations with field mapping apps. You'll report findings to the agronomist, flag thresholds that justify action, and help with trial plots, equipment calibration, and grain or forage sampling through the season.

What you will bring

You bring agronomy training or farm experience and the discipline to scout thoroughly when it's hot, buggy, and tempting to drive past. You identify common regional weeds and pests, take clear notes, and enjoy working outdoors independently. A valid driver's licence is required.
